Soo-Ha isn’t too busy in win­ter, as hard­ly anyo­ne visits her coas­tal town of Sokcho in South Korea. But this time it’s dif­fe­rent: French comic-book artist Yan Kerrand has che­cked into the hotel whe­re she works. She dutiful­ly looks after him. But in the pro­cess, the boun­da­ries bet­ween per­so­nal and pro­fes­sio­nal mat­ters beco­me blur­red as he unwit­tingly trig­gers an unp­lea­sant memory.
