While Lara alre\u00ada\u00addy iden\u00adti\u00adfies as a girl, her world is under\u00adgo\u00ading signi\u00adfi\u00adcant and much desi\u00adred trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon. She has just moved with her father and bel\u00adoved kid brot\u00adher to a new city whe\u00adre she has been pro\u00advi\u00adsio\u00adnal\u00adly accept\u00aded into a pres\u00adti\u00adgious dance school and she will soon be old enough to start hor\u00admo\u00adne repla\u00adce\u00adment the\u00adra\u00adpy. Lara\u2019s aspi\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon to femin\u00adin\u00adi\u00adty is so gre\u00adat that she has cho\u00adsen the most extre\u00adme phy\u00adsi\u00adcal form of its expres\u00adsi\u00adon. But here, dance is not a release. Held cap\u00adti\u00adve by her body, she tapes her geni\u00adtals and hides the bloo\u00addi\u00aded feet which have not grown up en poin\u00adte<\/em> like the other girls. While her father offers her not\u00adhing but sup\u00adport, she is all teenage uncer\u00adtain\u00adty and impa\u00adti\u00adence and her inte\u00adri\u00ador world moves clo\u00adser to self-des\u00adtruc\u00adtion even as her outer beau\u00adty blooms.<\/p>\n
