A skil\u00adled rodeo cow\u00adboy and hor\u00adse trai\u00adner, Brady suf\u00adfers a near-fatal acci\u00addent that abrupt\u00adly halts his care\u00ader and forces him to con\u00adtem\u00adp\u00adla\u00adte what a new life could look like.<\/p>\n

The abili\u00adty to ride defi\u00adnes a man\u2019s worth in Brady\u2019s world. Though riding and hor\u00adses are never far from his thoughts, Brady now spends his days working at the local super\u00admar\u00adket and his nights drin\u00adking with his bud\u00addies. With his mother gone and with a bor\u00adder\u00adline alco\u00adho\u00adlic father with a gambling pro\u00adblem, Brady finds hims\u00adelf respon\u00adsi\u00adble\u00adfor his 15-year-old sis\u00adter, Lilly. With his limi\u00adt\u00aded edu\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon, money and local fame may seem easie\u00adst to come by in the world of rodeo, but so are inju\u00adry and even death.<\/p>\n

Stoic and fearless with a rare sen\u00adse of authen\u00adti\u00adci\u00adty, she embraces the huma\u00adni\u00adty of its cha\u00adrac\u00adters and explo\u00adres defi\u00adni\u00adti\u00adons of mas\u00adcu\u00adli\u00adni\u00adty wit\u00adhout glo\u00adri\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adti\u00adon or judgment. The Rider is less a wes\u00adtern than a film about the real American west.
