Christian is new to the super\u00ads\u00adto\u00adre. He mute\u00adly plun\u00adges into this unknown uni\u00adver\u00adse: the end\u00adless ais\u00adles, the eter\u00adnal order of the warehou\u00adses, the sur\u00adre\u00adal mecha\u00adni\u00adcisms of the for\u00adk\u00adlift trucks. His col\u00adle\u00adague Bruno from the drinks depart\u00adment takes him under his wing, show\u00ading him all the tricks of the trade and soon beco\u00admes a fat\u00adher\u00adly fri\u00adend. Marion from the con\u00adfec\u00adtion\u00ada\u00adry depart\u00adment likes to have a bit of a laugh and a joke with Christian. When he falls in love with her, the enti\u00adre warehouse is roo\u00adting for him. But Marion is mar\u00adried, albeit unhap\u00adpi\u00adly by all accounts. All of a sud\u00adden she goes on sick lea\u00adve. Christian falls into a deep hole, so deep in fact, that his mise\u00adra\u00adble old life threa\u00adtens to engulf him once more.
\nIn his film In den G\u00e4ngen<\/em> Thomas Stuber opens a win\u00addow on the world of an ordi\u00adna\u00adry worker in the east German pro\u00advin\u00adces. A cho\u00adreo\u00adgra\u00adphy of peo\u00adp\u00adle and things, rea\u00adli\u00adty, desi\u00adres and dreams unfolds in pre\u00adcis\u00ade\u00adly framed images. The ever\u00ady\u00adday is trans\u00adfor\u00admed into a magi\u00adcal rea\u00adlism which tran\u00ads\u00adcends this ten\u00adder love sto\u00adry to point ten\u00adta\u00adtively towards the con\u00adcept of hope.<\/p>\n
