The anti-psych\u00adia\u00adtric Socialist Patients\u2018 Collective (SPK<\/span>) was foun\u00added in Heidelberg in 1970 and attri\u00adbu\u00adted indi\u00advi\u00addu\u00adal suf\u00adfe\u00adring to society\u2019s capi\u00adta\u00adlist struc\u00adtures. It began as a self-orga\u00adnis\u00aded expe\u00adri\u00adment in group the\u00adra\u00adpy led by doc\u00adtor Wolfgang Huber with psych\u00adia\u00adtric pati\u00adents, fea\u00adturing Hegel rea\u00addings and indi\u00advi\u00addu\u00adal agi\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon, befo\u00adre sub\u00adse\u00adquent\u00adly radi\u00adcal\u00adi\u00adsing, which ended in cri\u00admi\u00adnal pro\u00adcee\u00addings against its mem\u00adbers, some of whom went under\u00adground with the Red Army Faction. This film exami\u00adnes a litt\u00adle known chap\u00adter in West German histo\u00adry in impres\u00adsi\u00adve, unpre\u00adten\u00adtious fashion. A pre\u00adcise pic\u00adtu\u00adre of the social cli\u00adma\u00adte lea\u00adding up to the German Autumn emer\u00adges from pains\u00adta\u00adkin\u00adgly rese\u00adar\u00adched docu\u00adments, such as records from the inte\u00adri\u00ador minis\u00adtry and the uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty, press pho\u00adtos and TV<\/span> reports, trips to Stammheim pri\u00adson and to Italy, as well as from con\u00adver\u00adsa\u00adti\u00adons with for\u00admer SPK<\/span> \u2013 some\u00adti\u00admes RAF<\/span> \u2013 mem\u00adbers, lawy\u00aders and sta\u00adte poli\u00adce. The skil\u00adled inter\u00adview tech\u00adni\u00adques pro\u00addu\u00adce genui\u00adne encoun\u00adters with tho\u00adse in front of the came\u00adra, as they look back on their lives and the SPK<\/span> and dig out old papers, the ques\u00adti\u00adon of their resis\u00adtance han\u00adging in the air \u2013 all dif\u00adfe\u00adrent lay\u00aders of Kroske\u2019s historiography.<\/p>\n
