The film is built around the intert\u00adwi\u00adning desti\u00adnies of three main cha\u00adrac\u00adters during the Second World War: Russian aris\u00adto\u00adcrat-emi\u00adgrant and mem\u00adber of the French Resistance Olga (Yuliya Vysotskaya), a French col\u00adla\u00adbo\u00adra\u00adtor Jules (Philippe Duquesne) and a high-ran\u00adking SS<\/span> offi\u00adcer Helmut (Christian Clauss).<\/p>\n

Olga is arres\u00adted for hiding Jewish child\u00adren from the Nazi roun\u00addups. Her case is over\u00adseen by Jules. He is inte\u00adres\u00adted in her and it seems that in exch\u00adan\u00adge for sexu\u00adal rela\u00adti\u00adons he is rea\u00addy to sof\u00adten the fate of pri\u00adsoner, but this does not to hap\u00adpen. A chi\u00adme\u00adric hope of free\u00addom is repla\u00adced by cruel rea\u00adli\u00adty \u2013 Olga lands into a German con\u00adcen\u00adtra\u00adti\u00adon camp. The Nazis are alre\u00ada\u00addy clo\u00adse to defeat, and Helmut deci\u00addes to save Olga from the camp and run away with her to South America. Olga, having lost hope of free\u00addom agrees, but at the last moment rea\u00adli\u00adzes that her idea of para\u00addi\u00adse has changed.[8]<\/p>\n
