A bour\u00adgeois grey\u00adhound con\u00adfes\u00adses how he tur\u00adned from an ambi\u00adtious but litt\u00adle-reco\u00adg\u00adnis\u00aded film\u00adma\u00adker into a cani\u00adne. When his latest pro\u00adject is rejec\u00adted by every sin\u00adgle fun\u00adding insti\u00adtu\u00adti\u00adon, Julian is forced to take on a job as a fruit picker. When he makes a young Canadian woman named Camille belie\u00adve that this is rese\u00adarch for a com\u00admu\u00adnist fairy\u00adta\u00adle film in which she is to play the lea\u00adding role, she wants to come along, which kind\u00adles roman\u00adtic noti\u00adons in Julian. The pair winds up on an osten\u00adsi\u00adbly idyl\u00adlic but in rea\u00adli\u00adty deep\u00adly explo\u00adita\u00adti\u00adve apple farm. Whilst Julian has a hard time coping with the phy\u00adsi\u00adcal strain, Camille throws hers\u00adelf enthu\u00adsi\u00ada\u00adsti\u00adcal\u00adly into their sup\u00adpo\u00adsed rese\u00adarch and befri\u00adends Hong and Sancho, two na\u00ef\u00adve pro\u00adle\u00adta\u00adri\u00adans in search of hap\u00adpi\u00adness. Julian finds it incre\u00adasing\u00adly dif\u00adfi\u00adcult to play the com\u00admu\u00adnist film\u00adma\u00adker, then a model worker who dreams the American dream gets in his way, not to men\u00adti\u00adon an unhin\u00adged monk with magi\u00adcal powers. With all the\u00adse seething con\u00adflicts going on it\u2019s no sur\u00adpri\u00adse that the farm owner is acci\u00adden\u00adtal\u00adly kil\u00adled. In the end the enti\u00adre orchard is buz\u00adzing with an outra\u00adge\u00adous plan.<\/p>\n
