After an absence of more than ten years, Rona returns to her home on the remo\u00adte Orkney Islands in Scotland. As she redis\u00adco\u00advers the uni\u00adque, wild land\u00adscape in which she grew up, her child\u00adhood memo\u00adries ming\u00adle with tho\u00adse from her more recent times as an addict. Her depar\u00adtu\u00adre for the city and sub\u00adse\u00adquent dis\u00adso\u00adlu\u00adte years in London resul\u00adted in a pain\u00adful fall. Nora Fingscheidt\u2019s adapt\u00ada\u00adti\u00adon of Amy Liptot\u2019s auto\u00adbio\u00adgra\u00adphi\u00adcal best\u00adsel\u00adler uses har\u00adro\u00adwing flash\u00adbacks to depict Rona\u2019s down\u00adward spi\u00adral in London and her time in a strict rehab pro\u00adgram\u00adme. However, the focus of the film is on her libe\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon from per\u00adso\u00adnal demons through a con\u00adnec\u00adtion with the natu\u00adre of her child\u00adhood home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
