Ivo works as a pal\u00adlia\u00adti\u00adve home-care nur\u00adse. Every day, she visits fami\u00adlies, cou\u00adples and sin\u00adgle peo\u00adp\u00adle. They live in small flats and lar\u00adge hou\u00adses. They all have dif\u00adfe\u00adrent lives and deaths. They all have dif\u00adfe\u00adrent ways of deal\u00ading with the time that remains. At home, Ivo\u2019s teenage daugh\u00adter has long sin\u00adce beco\u00adme inde\u00adpen\u00addent. From mor\u00adning to night, Ivo dri\u00adves around in her old Skoda which she has made into her per\u00adso\u00adnal living space. Here, she eats her meals, works, sings, swears and dreams. One of her pati\u00adents, Solveigh, has beco\u00adme a clo\u00adse fri\u00adend. Ivo has also for\u00admed a rela\u00adti\u00adonship with Solveigh\u2019s hus\u00adband, Franz. Day after day, the two work tog\u00ade\u00adther to care for Solveigh. And they sleep with each other. Solveigh\u2019s strength is dimi\u00adnis\u00adhing and she soon has to rely on sup\u00adport for the simp\u00adlest tasks. She wants the final decis\u00adi\u00adon to be her own: she wants Ivo to help her die.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
