The social media pro\u00adfi\u00adle of a young woman includes pic\u00adtures of her pets, her fri\u00adends, and her exer\u00adcise rou\u00adti\u00adne. But on June 2, 2017, the posts come to an end. This film beg\u00adins on the fol\u00adlo\u00adwing day and con\u00adta\u00adins ver\u00adba\u00adtim dia\u00adlo\u00adgue from the unedi\u00adted tran\u00adscript of an FBI<\/span> audio recor\u00adding. The audi\u00adence wit\u00adnesses the prot\u00adago\u00adnist \u2013 play\u00aded by Sydney Sweeney \u2013 arri\u00adving at her home in Georgia, only to be met by two men out\u00adside who poli\u00adte\u00adly inform her that they have a search war\u00adrant. What fol\u00adlows is a cham\u00adber pie\u00adce focu\u00adsing on the inter\u00adro\u00adga\u00adti\u00adon of whist\u00adle-blower Reality Winner and the search of her home.
Director Tina Satter pres\u00adents a snapshot of recent US<\/span> histo\u00adry that deri\u00adves all of its ten\u00adsi\u00adon from the gra\u00advi\u00adty of the situa\u00adti\u00adon. The strong imagery and subt\u00adle direc\u00adtion of the actors in this dra\u00adma places it on the cusp of docu\u00admen\u00adta\u00adry. This enables an unob\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adted view of the events of that day \u2013 befo\u00adre they beca\u00adme a case that was to pola\u00adri\u00adse the press, the gene\u00adral public and politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
