In the four years that fol\u00adlow, they dabb\u00adle in gre\u00adat love and an open rela\u00adti\u00adonship bet\u00adween his home\u00adtown of Zurich and her adopted Rome. Frisch envies her fame; Bachmann finds his type\u00adwri\u00adter clat\u00adter and his jea\u00adlou\u00adsy annoy\u00ading. Ronald Zehrfeld as the cor\u00adpu\u00adlent, pipe-smo\u00adking Frisch and Vicky Krieps (in the role of ano\u00adther cult figu\u00adre after Empress Sisi) are the per\u00adfect match. This film is not about Bachmann\u2019s fatal end, but about her hopes for love and respect, in lite\u00adra\u00adtu\u00adre, and in&nbsp;life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p Nach Rosa Luxemburg und Hannah Arendt widmet sich Margarethe von Trotta in INGEBORG BACHMANN \u2013 REISE IN DIE W\u00dcSTE erneut einer weiblichen Lichtgestalt des 20. Jahrhunderts: Unver\u00e4ndert gilt die \u00f6sterreichische Lyrikerin, die 1973 im Alter von nur 47 Jahren unter tragischen Umst\u00e4nden aus dem Leben schied, als eine der bedeutendsten Dichterinnen des 20.
