But they don\u2019t see eye to eye on the see\u00admingly unstoppable trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon of the lives of the Venetians and the city\u00ad\u2019s very iden\u00adti\u00adty. Indeed, the far-rea\u00adching impact of glo\u00adbal tou\u00adrism has chan\u00adged the rela\u00adti\u00adonship bet\u00adween Venice and its resi\u00addents, and the pan\u00adde\u00admic has only thrown this cri\u00adti\u00adcal situa\u00adti\u00adon into reli\u00adef. Pietro would just like to keep fishing the typi\u00adcal crabs found in the Lagoon, lonely as that life\u00adstyle is, while Alvise belie\u00adves their home on the Giudecca its\u00adelf is the ticket to joi\u00adning the eli\u00adte mana\u00adging the city\u00ad\u2019s real estate assets, hence run\u00adning Venice. This clash of views will invol\u00adve the enti\u00adre fami\u00adly, in an ensem\u00adble film about how our world is changing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
