Over the cour\u00adse of two years in California City, a huge, eerie plan\u00adned city in the desert that is cut off from Los Angeles by a moun\u00adtain ran\u00adge, Victoria unfolds, en pas\u00adsant, a city map that elu\u00addes ori\u00aden\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon: we see time pas\u00adsing, san\u00addy streets being ten\u00added to, kids on their way to school and han\u00adging out. Out of docu\u00admen\u00adta\u00adry images and pho\u00adne vide\u00ados taken by Warren, the prot\u00adago\u00adnist, vir\u00adtu\u00adal views and a voice\u00adover of his dia\u00adry ent\u00adries, an image of the city and a city of images are for\u00admed in par\u00adal\u00adlel.
