As a new pro\u00adgram-high\u00adlight, the 10th Kurdish Film Festival Berlin (8\u221214 October) shows expe\u00adri\u00admen\u00adtal short films from Kurdish count\u00adries of ori\u00adgin and the dia\u00adspo\u00adra. The sel\u00adec\u00adtion offers spe\u00adcial cine\u00adma\u00adtic impres\u00adsi\u00adons bet\u00adween film and con\u00adtem\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adry art. Critical, crea\u00adti\u00adve and com\u00adplex reflec\u00adtions from Kurdish perspectives.
\nAmong them is PARADISE<\/span> by the Hamburg artists* Leyla Yenirce and Mazlum Nergiz \u2013 the film ver\u00adsi\u00adon of the art instal\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon of the same name, which deals with the emo\u00adtio\u00adnal lan\u00adguage of the images around Kurdish mar\u00adtyrs and free\u00addom figh\u00adters. The expe\u00adri\u00admen\u00adtal short film BARIKAT<\/span> shows a per\u00adfor\u00admance by the artist Mirkan Deniz, inspi\u00adred by the dai\u00adly fate of Kurds* living under cur\u00adfew in various regi\u00adons of Turkey.<\/p>\n
