A child curious\u00adly pres\u00adses its face against the win\u00addow of a car in which British musi\u00adci\u00adan PJ<\/span> Harvey and pho\u00adto\u00adjour\u00adna\u00adlist and film\u00adma\u00adker Seamus Murphy are sit\u00adting. They are in Kabul, Afghanistan, one of three desti\u00adna\u00adti\u00adons to which they are tra\u00advel\u00adling; the others are Kosovo and Washington, D.C. Harvey is sear\u00adching for inspi\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon; coll\u00adec\u00adting impres\u00adsi\u00adons and words, obser\u00adving, lis\u00adtening and absor\u00adbing. Her thoughts can be heard in voice-over. Hers is the chro\u00adnic\u00adle of a stran\u00adger who\u00adse atten\u00adti\u00adve gaze is direc\u00adted towards the rea\u00adli\u00adty of ever\u00ady\u00adday life in the places she visits. Inspiration turns into poet\u00adry, which gives rise to songs for her album \u2018The Hope Six Demolition Project\u2019. Back in London, Harvey records the\u00adse songs with her band in a pur\u00adpo\u00adse-built stu\u00addio which ser\u00adves as a kind of peep\u00adshow, its one-way win\u00addow allo\u00adwing inte\u00adres\u00adted audi\u00aden\u00adces to obser\u00adve the process.
\nSeamus Murphy trans\u00adpo\u00adses Harvey\u2019s search for inspi\u00adra\u00adtio\u00adnal mate\u00adri\u00adal and her inti\u00adma\u00adte crea\u00adti\u00adve pro\u00adcess into an impres\u00adsi\u00adve\u00adly poe\u00adtic mon\u00adta\u00adge that never once dive\u00adsts the musi\u00adci\u00adan of her enig\u00adma\u00adtic aura. A Dog Called Money<\/em> mer\u00adges the filmmaker\u2019s and the musician\u2019s visi\u00adons in an extra\u00ador\u00addi\u00adna\u00adry symbiosis.<\/p>\n
