Besnik is a lonely she\u00adp\u00adherd and devo\u00adted Muslim, haun\u00adted by unful\u00adfil\u00adled love. He is the son of a Catholic mother and form\u00ader\u00adly Communist father whom he takes care of in an Albanian vil\u00adla\u00adge in the moun\u00adta\u00adins. Up here, Christians and Muslims have found a way to co-exist peaceful\u00adly. Even after the dis\u00adco\u00advery that the old mos\u00adque used to be a church and that the buil\u00adding was actual\u00adly shared by the two reli\u00adgi\u00adons in the past, the calm of dai\u00adly life can be pre\u00adser\u00adved \u2013 with Besnik\u2019s help. After the death of his father, howe\u00adver, dra\u00adstic chan\u00adges threa\u00adten Besnik\u2019s mul\u00adti-faith fami\u00adly and the she\u00adp\u00adherd is forced to seek his own path.<\/p>\n
