Romania took an acti\u00adve part in the Holocaust \u2013 today the coun\u00adtry is in com\u00adple\u00adte deni\u00adal. An absurd mora\u00adli\u00adty tale about sel\u00adec\u00adti\u00adve memo\u00adry in today\u2019s Europe. Under General Antonescu, the mas\u00adsi\u00adve anti-Semitism pre\u00adsent in Romanian socie\u00adty was made offi\u00adci\u00adal govern\u00adment poli\u00adcy, yet his role and that of his govern\u00adment in World War II<\/span> are glo\u00adri\u00adfied to this day. A young direc\u00adtor wants to clear up the\u00adse natio\u00adnal myths and to this end plans a theat\u00adre pro\u00adduc\u00adtion. What with unwil\u00adling extras, patro\u00adni\u00adzing patrons and the cha\u00ados in the direc\u00adtor\u2019s own life, the per\u00adfor\u00admance desi\u00adgned as a wake-up call muta\u00adtes step by step to a farce.<\/p>\n
