Hans-Erich Viet\u2019s docu\u00admen\u00adta\u00adry tells the sto\u00adry of 97-year-old Holocaust sur\u00advi\u00advor Leon Schwarzbaum. Born in Hamburg, he grew up in Poland and was the only mem\u00adber of his fami\u00adly to sur\u00advi\u00adve the con\u00adcen\u00adtra\u00adti\u00adon camps of Auschwitz, Buchenwald and Sachsenhausen. He was an obser\u00adver at the L\u00fcneburg SS<\/span> tri\u00adal and was a co-plain\u00adti\u00adff in the Auschwitz SS<\/span> tri\u00adals in Detmold and Hanau. A road movie through deca\u00addes of German histo\u00adry and sto\u00adries \u2013 with a man who sang as a teen\u00adager in a boy band known as the \u201eJolly Boys\u201c, inspi\u00adred by American swing music.<\/p>\n
