Amidst the pre\u00adpa\u00adra\u00adti\u00adons for her 35th wed\u00adding anni\u00adver\u00adsa\u00adry, Meredith is sur\u00adpri\u00adsed by the dis\u00adco\u00advery that she is HIV-posi\u00adti\u00adve. Only her hus\u00adband Andr\u00e9 comes into ques\u00adti\u00adon as the carrier.
\nShaken, Meredith finds out that he has been unfaithful to her with pro\u00adsti\u00adtu\u00adtes. She con\u00adfronts Andr\u00e9 with the dia\u00adgno\u00adsis and throws him out of the house. Meredith, howe\u00adver, who has always built her life enti\u00adre\u00adly around caring for her fami\u00adly, can hard\u00adly bear being alo\u00adne.
